Join us for an evening of celebration and reflection as we honor Mufalo Chitam and the remarkable impact of her leadership, advocacy, and dedication to building stronger, more equitable communities. Through her commitment to advancing justice, amplifying voices, and creating meaningful opportunities for others, Mufalo has inspired and strengthened the work of so many across Maine.
This gathering is also a celebration of Maine’s Civil Legal Aid community—a dedicated network of advocates, organizations, and leaders whose perseverance and compassion help ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to access justice. Together, we’ll celebrate the people and work that make our communities more just, inclusive, and equitable.
Guests are invited to enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of cocktails and appetizers at The Ocean Gateway, situated along Portland’s historic waterfront. This exceptional venue offers a seamless indoor and outdoor experience, where sweeping views of Casco Bay provide a striking and memorable backdrop for an evening of connection, recognition, and inspiration.
Parking Information
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Ocean Gateway in Portland!
There will be parking available in the Visitor Center lot, with additional spaces along the large lot next to the venue. You’ll also find plenty of street parking nearby.
To make things easy, we’ll have staff on site to help guide you to an open spot when you arrive.
