The 2010 Hon. Edmund S. Muskie Access to Justice Award Dinner is being presented
to Dr. Robert McAfee for his leadership in mobilizing healthcare providers and others to
address the problem of family violence in our community. The award will be presented at
the Fifteenth Anniversary Dinner on June 2, 2010 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine.
We are now confirming the various levels of individual and corporate support for this
year’s Dinner. The Dinner attracts between 300 - 400 guests from Maine's business, legal
and civil sectors. The net proceeds of the Dinner are used to support the work Maine's
legal aid providers.
In addition to purchasing tickets or sponsoring tables, businesses, organizations
and individuals have traditionally used the tribute section of the evening
program book as a way to recognize either the honoree or another individual who has made significant
